NER Construction Management was the General Contractor for this 12 month historic restoration of the Lenox Hotel in Boston. In the early stages of planning, an exploratory of the 212-room luxury hotel revealed that the steel structure on the building exterior had deteriorated due to years of water infiltration. After determining extensive repairs were in order, the architect, CBI Consulting, settled on a four phase project encompassing the complete removal of brick veneer from the third floor to the roof as well as all the existing terra cotta detailing and cornices.
