| Located in the heart of downtown Boston, the Nine Zero Hotel opened in June of 2002. NER was chosen as the Masonry and Waterproofing Contractor for this 190 room premier hotel on Tremont Street. This fast track project involved construction from the ground up of a nineteen story Four Star hotel. The facade of Nine Zero consists of brick and limestone that will offset the hotel's use of sleek nickel, chrome and stainless steel and elements of glass throughout the hotel's interior.
NER self-performed the exterior staging as part of its scope which includes all the exterior brick, limestone, inlays, bands, parapet, lintels and panels in addition to the site paving.
The waterproofing consists of the foundation walls, sidewalk vaults and joint sealants in this tight urban location across from the Historic Granary Burial Ground.
